A Few Projects that Mr. Polepalli was instrumental in winning for Global Solutions, LLC:
 
Louisville Southern Indiana Ohio River Bridges Project (one of the seven mega transportation projects in the country)
§   Was instrumental in Global Solutions (GS) teaming with Michael Baker Jr. Corp. as one of the team members. This team eventually was awarded section 2 of the project.
§   Apart from some of the key components of the project GS is also involved in the Mentor-Protégé Program with Michael Baker Jr. Corp. As part of this program GS is involved in Project Management, Project Controls, Financial Management, Public Involvement, various project meetings, Risk Assessment analysis and General Engineering.
                           
                                TRIMARC (Traffic Response and Incident Management Assisting River Cities) ITS project
·            Was instrumental in Global Solutions (GS) teaming with Northrop Grumman as one of     the team members. This team eventually was awarded the contract for the second phase of TRIMARC project.
·            Global Solutions is responsible for Civil and Traffic engineering aspects under TASK 6 of the project. The contract for this project is for 13 years.
 
                                Caldwell County, New Route KY 91 – KY 293 Connector, KYTC Project:
·            Was instrumental in Global Solutions (GS) teaming with American Engineers, Inc as one of the team members. This team eventually was awarded the contract for the Environmental Footprint and Phase I Preliminary Roadway Design.
·            Global Solutions is responsible for all the Traffic Engineering aspects of the project.
 
                                Task Order Contracts – University of Kentucky, Lexington, Kentucky:
·            Was instrumental in getting this contract from University of Kentucky
·            Global Solutions is responsible for civil engineering task order contracts
 
Department of Veteran Affairs – Marion, Indiana – Improvements to driveway access to Building No. 176 – A&E and Construction Supervision Services
·           Submitted the SF330 in response to the RFP and coordinated with the contracting   officer and after several rounds of telephone conversations, short lists and telephone interviews with the client won the project for Global Solutions, LLC
·           Negotiated Engineers fee with Veterans Affairs
·           Global Solutions will be responsible for A&E design and construction supervision services.
 
Middletown Recapture Project – Metropolitan Sewer District, Louisville, Kentucky thru Mindel Scott and Associates Prime Consulting Firm – Engineering Services
·         Submitted and negotiated fee proposal
·              Gravity sanitary sewer design, cost estimate development, specifications, bid proposal document preparation, coordination with several other consulting firms on the team
 
ODOT Projects: As part of an agreement with Jacobs/Edwards & Kelcey Engineering, Inc. have managed following projects as a Senior Project Manager for a period of one year:

          (JEFFERSON COUNTY WIDENING AND REDESIGNING EXISTING ARTERIAL ROAD - 2 MILES)
          Was responsible for the design, plan production, drainage, right of way plans, legal descriptions of the right of way takings, traffic signal layout sheets, capacity analysis, intersection design, etc
·            JEFFERSON BLVD. EXTENSION - Client: Louisville Public Works Department
          (JEFFERSON COUNTY DESIGN OF A NEW ARTERIAL ROAD - 2.5 MILES)
          Was responsible for the design, plan production, drainage, detention pond design, right of way plans, legal descriptions of the right of way takings, traffic signal layout sheets, capacity analysis, intersection design, utility coordination, etc
 
 
June 1994 – July 1998     
                Transportation/Traffic Engineer - Presnell Associates Inc.   
·            Designed various elements of Highways. AASHTO, Highway Capacity Manual, Kentucky design standards & specs, MUTCD, Roadside Design Guide were used widely in the process.
·            Designed numerous Intersections & performed capacity analysis using H. C. software.
·            Prepared Signing and Striping plans based on MUTCD standards.      
·            Designed cross drainage pipes & culverts. Used Eagle Point to cut the cross sections.
·            Used traffic data given by KYTC to design various intersections. 
·            Have written several technical reports involving traffic and transportation engineering related projects.
·            Performed Pedestrian Access Study and wrote a report on the study.
·            Used Eagle Point-13 for designing vertical curves, profiles, X-sections, surface modeling, data transfer, alignment, cogo etc.
·            Coordinated with project team members in implementing various design standards.
·            Established right-of-way, construction and drainage easements. Used AutoCAD-13 to establish the property lines, existing right-of-way, easements etc. that were obtained from plats, tax maps, deeds etc.
·            Have used Eagle Point software to cut cross-sections, both skew and non-skew, on various alignments.
·            Designed vertical grades on various approach roads and mainline alignments.
·            Designed crucial elements of an important interchange to meet AASHTO’s design standards.
·            Performed capacity analysis of the entire interchange using H. C. software.
·            Prepared Signal Plans, Striping Plans and Specifications for City of Louisville.
·            Coordinated and Located utilities on various projects.
·            Coordinated several meetings between clients, consultants and government officials.
